i don't really know, but here is what i have been doing -- i am finding that maybe the gel is drying out my hair in low dews, so i've been skipping the gel, and sotc with a sealant. been using jane carter's nourish and shine, and sometimes ss emollience. both work to keep in the moisture.
and, there are times i do not do that and i find my hair looking a little dry, so i've been putting some cj cccc gently over the top layer of my hair, then flipping my head upside down and rubbing my fingers on my scalp to kind of gather the hair to reconnect. most of the time it works really well, the cccc seems to make my curls pop without frizz this way.
you just have to play around with different products, being aware of the dew points outside and inside, and see what works for you.
