hair feels thinner??

so I've been CG/modified CG, since September. I got my haircut in the end of October by my hairdresser whom I've been going to for 4 years. I have pretty thick hair. Today I finally went for a long overdue haircut and she commented on how my hair seems thinner than usual. I feel like since doing CG it hasn't been growing as fast as it usually does, which is really fast. I didn't notice it being thinner though. I have since the last haircut been under a great deal of stress, more than ever, but haven't noticed hair falling out more than usual or anything. It isn't thinning as in balding or anything drastic like that. Anyone think this is related to CG or just the stress?? anyone else have their hair feel not as thick??

I tend to think the opposite..when I was pooing I had handfuls coming out. Now, I have hardly any. I think it may be stress, but if you think you are losing more than 200 hairs everyday you might want to speak to a doctor..could be a health problem that needs to be addressed! :?

Well, since silicones coat the hair, maybe they added an extra layer of thickness to your locks? That might make it feel slightly thinner. Just a guess, though.

If your hair is healthy and you didn't notice any such effects, it's also possible that it was in the hairdresser's head! :P

HTH!

When I was modified CG, my hair looked thinner because it just seemed to lay flatter. I've come to realize that my hair isn't dry and it likes shampoo once or twice a week. My hair looks and feels fuller and curlier when I poo. Maybe your hair is hydrated enough.

I think it's just that my hair clumps together more on CG.
When I rake my gel in my hair I get the clumps broken up and better volume but I think the amount of hair is the same.

If you haven't had a lot of shedding maybe your hair is just clumping better

Hi! I started CG about 4 months ago, and I have also felt like my hair has been thinning out lately. I've always had LOTS of very THICK hair, but lately it has not been feeling that way to me. No one else has ever said that they think my hair is different, including my stylist. I moved from Pennsylvania to Utah a year ago, so I've summed it up to a lack of humidity. However, I have also been under more stress than normal (first real job), so who knows!
