Just thought I'd share my excitement. :-)

It's been a very long time since I've really been satisfied with my hair- either not enough wave, no definition, uber frizz... something.

Today I wasn't really planning on going anywhere, so I decided to go easy on the products. I cowashed with White Rain Lavender, conditioned with Suave Coconut (all upside down). Then, I squeezed out the excess water and scrunced in a small amount of L'Oreal Studio Line Melting gel, then ploped for about 5 minutes. After that, I added a litte bit more Melting Gel, then scrunched in Condition 3-in-1 Mousse.

WOW! I wasn't expecting anything special, but I love my hair today! My hair had good volume, good definition (especially for my hair, which can go from waves to poof in about 3 seconds), and no frizz! I'm not sure if it was plopping with less product or the mousse, but either way I was excited. The results were fairly consistant all over my head; even the not-so-wavy parts were waving nicely! Although there is some crunch at the ends of my hair, the rest of my hair is touchably soft.

Of course, the day I don't leave the house...

Woohoo for youhoo! Once by accident I discovered that if I put mousse on AFTER my gel, rather than b-4, I also had very soft, frizz-free defined curls (when applied to wet hair). I am wondering if that is the common link in our good hair day discoveries...hmmmm....

I would... but alas, I have no digital camera.

That may be it. I also think that it had something to do with plopping with less product in my hair, or maybe just my general not really messing with it.

Let's hope I can duplicate this... *crosses fingers*
