Default I think I need re-typing

What is your opinion on my hair type. I used to be 3b years ago but after having kids I lost that curl and now I am listing myself as a 2c/3a. Do you agree or am I more of a solid 2c??

THanks!!

Back on Cones,so now my routine is,wash with Deva No-Poo every other day or so. Occasionally use 365 sulfate free, maybe use low sulfate shampoo mixed with conditioner once every two weeks are longer. I condition with Aussie Moist or HEHH. I style with a little GF TN,and finish up with tons of GN Pure Clean Smoothing Cream. No frizz...slippy, happy hair.

Your hair looks exactly like mine. I also classify myself as 2c/3a combo, but I'm very new to hair typing and could be wrong.

Thanks so much ladies!! 2c/3a wurly hair is definitely a tough type to figure out. Corrina I think your right... we have similar curl pattern. I'm going to have to check out some of your posts to see if there is anything I can adapt from your routine I love how big and shiny your curls are!

To me, the wavy hallmark is less curl at the roots. Your hair seems to have more curl at the roots and loosen up on the length....maybe 3B? Or possibly mixed textures?

Your hair is lovely. It looks a lot like mine. I consider myself a 3A/B with normal porosity, fine-normal density and fine texture.
Curl type is just the pattern of your curl. What's important is the properties- density, texture, and porosity. You and I can have the same curl pattern and very different hair. But if we have the same porosity, density and texture, we'll have similar hair.

The first and third pics look 3a. The second pic looks 2c with some 3a. Nothing is tight or small enough to be 3b.

Thank you so much ladies! I guess I'll stick with the 2c and 3a mix. The tight waves at the back might look 3b ish but really there is no spiral to be found no matter what gel, plopping and scrunching I do. Also my hair is layered so It might give some illusion of some spiraling action LOL. Ahh well Thanks so much again!!
