Products with Water Soluble Cones

Hi CGs.

I noticed that my hair has been super frizzy on the top lately, even after I stopped diffusing. (I think it may be my Suave Naturals Coconut as a co-wash). Anyway, to help combat the damage, I used the only deep moisture treatment I have while I'm at college: GF's Discontinued Sleek and Shine 3 minute mask, which has amodimethicone. I pineappled over night and woke up and my hair was FABULOUS. It was soft and frizz free. (And I didn't do anything different from my regular routine).

Anyway, I was wondering if you other CGs know of products that have water soluble cones (Cyclomethicone/Dimethicone Copolyol), such as curling creams or leave in conditioners.

Also, I read here The Long Hair Community Discussion Boards - To Cone or Not to Cone that amodimethicone in the presence of Trideceth-12 and Cetrimonium Chloride is water soluble. Is Trideceth-6 similar enough to Trideceth-12 to also make a product water soluble? Because it is in GFs leave in sleek and shine conditioner (along with the amodimethicone and cetrimonium chloride).

Sorry for the long, cone-y post. Have great weekends!

Looking for a good DT and products with water soluble cones.
I wish I had a good leave in /curl cream rec. for you with some good 'cones, but my hair seems to hate even the water soluble sort. I do have some info. on the amodimethicone /Tricedeth-12 /Cetrimonium Chloride thing though...

According to the CurlChemist, and Struttswife (Live Curly Live Free), Tricedeth-12 and Cetrimonium Chloride do not make the Amodimethicone water soluble. They make it water dispersible. Once deposited onto the hair shaft and dry, it becomes non-water soluble.

The short answer is that these polymers are not water soluble. The silicone is provided to product manufacturers as a mixture of silicone/cationic surfactant/nonionic surfactant, which enables it to be readily dispersed into an aqueous formulation because this mixture is water soluble. However, once the product is used and the amodimethicone is deposited onto the surface of the hair and forms a film, it is not water soluble.
What the Trideceth-12 and cetrimonium chloride do is render the amodimethicone dispersible in water. Once the amodimethicone is deposited onto the hair shaft and dries to a film, however, it is not water-soluble, will prevent moisture from getting into the hair shaft and will require a surfactant to remove.

I really needed to know this, thanks!
That trio isn't as safe as I thought!
