Looks like I'll be starting over....

In my enthusiasm to use all my new products and get started two weeks ago, I mistakenly used a sulfate-free shampoo for my last poo. Back to the beginning I go? I appreciate any thoughts.
Depends. Did your sulfate-free low-poo contain coca. betaine, by any chance? If so, you're good! Coca betaine removes 'cones.

If your hair isn't feeling gunky or buildup-y, I wouldn't worry too terribly much. If you want to be safe, though, you can get a gentle low-poo that contains coca betaine to remove any possible buildup! Renpure Organics has very gentle shampoos that contain this ingredient. I love them.
whurly girly (2C/3A).
thick; medium/coarse; low porosity.
hair that is drier than the sahara desert.

LOW-POO: Renpure Organics
CO: L'Oreal EverCreme Cleansing Conditioner
RO: Renpure Keratin Conditioner. New HG!
LI: L'Oreal EverSleek Humidity-Defying LI Creme
Styling: SM Curl Milk, Argan Oil for sealing, sometimes GFPC Gel, some honey for hold, TIGI Control Freak Serum!!
Not sure. I used trader joes tingle tree (I think that's what it's called). I'll check the label. Thanks!
And yes, my hair is feeling pretty gunky.
Don't worry! You can get a gentle low-poo and still be fine. Like I said, I LOVE Renpure Organics - doesn't strip my hair, yet clarifies and cleans it! But even if you have to use a Sulfate 'poo, it's totally fine!! Your hair might like the clarifying.

Thanks Steph. This whole process is exciting for me, but a bit frustrating. Mostly because I like big, bouncy curls and it seems like my hair has been very flat and weighed down since I started.

Also -- the fact that you didn't clarify with a sulfate shampoo is probably why your hair is weighed down. Once you fix that, you'll probably get the fuller hair you're looking for

I think the J&J baby shampoo can be used as a final low poo and you can get a small bottle from the travel section. I keep a bottle of HE Degunkify as a sulfate shampoo that I use every few months or so.

I bet doing a sulfate shampoo will help quite a bit. If you live in a climate with low dews that could be affecting your volume as well.
Coarse texture, normal-high porosity, normal elasticity (Komaza Care), very weak waves
cleanser: Redken Fresh Curls Shampoo, CJ Daily Fix

rinse out: CJ Beauticurls, CJ A&OO, CJ Smoothing

jellies/creams: Mop C, KCCC, SCE FSG
gels: CJ CQ, BRHG

Well I used a sulfate shampoo in Wednesday night and just cowashed last night. I also discovered that I can achieve volume and definition by pineappling slightly damp hair. My hair looks awesome so far. Thanks for the tips, ladies.
I should have said that I pineapple at night because I shower at night. Works much better, because when I let my hair air dry during the day, it is so flat.
