Default Hair getting less curly?

Since going CG my hair has gotten extremely soft, shiny, and healthy, but I discovered my hair is fine and the healthier it gets, the more it seems to refuse to want to curl like it did before? I'm confused. Has this happened to anyone else?

Have you been using products with protein or done a protein treatment? I know my hair (and fine hair in general) gets kind of limp and much less wavy when my hair starts to "run out" of protein. They definitely perk up once I do a PT and leave it on for anywhere from half an hour to an hour.

I had been using LALSG which from my understanding has a fair amount of protein in it. But my hair is still kind of really soft when it's wet, so maybe I'll go to Sally's later today and get a protein treatment.

I definitely suggest the protein. It completely revived my curls. If you're afraid of your hair feeling dry, just follow with a DT.

I looked at the ingredients for LALSG and the only thing I recognized as maybe being a protein was "Keratin Amino Acids"; not totally sure if it is one, though. If you want a cheap and easy to make PT, try IAgirl's PT; I love it.

I highly suggest trying an egg mask. I actually did one the other night and it made a huge difference! My hair gets so so limp and fine that it doesn't do anything (and it's very porous). But this made if feel like it had texture again!
