My mom was going through her bathroom and had a full bottle of some old ABBA Sets Liquid Gel Spray. It's full of extracts, which is nice (and some wheat and soy proteins, but I don't know how my hair will react to those), but has 1 silicone,Trimethylsiloxyamodimethicone, in it, literally 2nd from the bottom of the huge ingredient list.

Since it's so far down the list, it can't hurt to use once in a while, can it? I'd prefer to not have to do a sulfate rinse as needed, but am willing. Is there another way I can remove the tiny amount of silicone w/o sulfates?? I'd really hate to waste an entire bottle of free product.

You should be able to use a low-poo rather than doing a sulfate wash. This gives a decent list of different cones and the types of cleansers that can remove them from your hair.

Oooo, I don't think I like this product
I sprayed some on my really nice 2nd day hair today.... it left it really, really sticky and crunchy. Plus, I can't rinse it off my hand with just water at all... Eh, it was worth a shot.
