Default Hair growing out straight?

Hi! When my hair was shorter, it was 2b/2c, but I wanted to grow it longer. Now th curl patterns really weird! It's curling at the ends but is straighter towards to roots. What should I do? Thanks!

It's normal for wavy hair to be straight at the roots. Some looser wave patterns don't even start becoming wavy until ear length. There's nothing you have to do about it.

+1 I believe it's the weight of the growing hair that makes the roots straight
