leave in conditioner- is it enough?
My hair is very curly & even after sleeping on it, I have good curl definition. I've been using Deva One Condition in the shower, along with Deva No Poo. Once I rince, I get out & put on more One Condition as a leave in. Don't need to scrutch 'cuz like I said before- my hair was made to curl like crazy. That's pretty much all I do. I go a whole week between washings, just refresh each morning with a little water & more Once Conditioner... On to my question-- would I benefit from using gel? Or moose? I hear everybody raving about products. Should I get in on that-- or just stand by my leave in? Do you use conditioner in conjunction with a gel? Or is it unproductive to mix products like that? Sorry if I sound ignorant. Thanks for your input:-)

Many of use use products to help with curl definition and hold. If you're able to get that with just One C and water, that's awesome!

I'm sure if I did not use products, my hair would be a frizzy mess. I'd probably have straight pieces on my top and crazy curls under my canopy. My hair has been damaged from coloring and straightening as well, and this is another reason why I use products. I over did my hair and now I have to help it out some.

i dont use products much at all. if we're going out or if i feel like somthing different then i use a little bit of gel. but other then that i just go with my leave in, normal condish, and a bit of oil. my hairs really healthy, and i seem to have pretty good definition. so i say if it works for you then i wouldnt be spending my money on products.

Makes sense-- I'm just having a moment of "wish I was a product jumkie." Sounds like fun to experiment with products & different routines. Then again- I'm a big 'ol chicken & would hate to undo the health that my hair now has. Then again- what if I'm missing the boat & there's a way to make my hair even healthier/better than it is now? Confused-- but mostly content. Thanks ya'll

You are so very lucky to be able to just use a LI condish!! If your hair looks amazing with just that and you are happy, there's really no need for anything else! But, at the same time, you could always try a sample of some sort of gel if you're curious and feel like experimenting. I'd stick with cheap ones, like something super inexpensive from the drugstore or a more expensive product sample from Kathymack -- that way, if you don't like it, you won't be wasting money. So, you can satisfy your PJ and not go overboard spending money on hair products.
