I found these videos on cones over the weekend that really helped me to understand what cones do and how they work. :) It turns out they are not as "evil" or "bad" as people make them out to be, at least not when it comes to my hair. ;)

I use to think that my hair didn't like silicones in general but it turns out that it's only certain ones that my hair doesn't like. I tried water soluble cones and my hair is fine with them.
My hair is fine with cones too, so long as I wash with a ammonium lauryl sulfate shampoo every once in a while. I'm just getting back into using them, actually, CG was making me greasy... >.< and if I have to wash anyway.... may as well try them, right?
