Silicone 101

I found these videos on cones over the weekend that really helped me to understand what cones do and how they work. It turns out they are not as "evil" or "bad" as people make them out to be, at least not when it comes to my hair.

I use to think that my hair didn't like silicones in general but it turns out that it's only certain ones that my hair doesn't like. I tried water soluble cones and my hair is fine with them.

Products I use:

Shampoo: Tresemme Naturals Nourishing Shampoo
Conditioner: Tresemme Naturals Nourishing Conditioner
DT: Matrix Biolage Hydratherapie Aqua-Immersion Creme Masque
Styling: Homemade FSG with Lavender EO & AVJ/water mist spray containing Epsom Salt, Lavender EO

My hair is fine with cones too, so long as I wash with a ammonium lauryl sulfate shampoo every once in a while. I'm just getting back into using them, actually, CG was making me greasy... >.< and if I have to wash anyway.... may as well try them, right?
