Droopy locks in humidity
Ok. So in the past my curls would get REALLY droopy in humidity. My hair is porous, so I always just assumed it was because of that - it jus soaked up all the moisture in GE air and got heavy and weighed down.
Now that I'm mod-cg and have discovered how much my hair adores protein, I'm wondering if that will be any better this spring/summer. Any thoughts or tips?? |
My hair gets droopy in general when I need protein.
But, I find that, after my first year of cg, my protein needs were pretty dew point dependent. I'm pretty protein free in the winter. In high dew points in the summer, I need protein to keep the drooping at bay. Siri types my posts for me. |

See, I'm wondering if this is how it will be for me, too. Except I've been using a good amount of protein through the winter, too! Of course our winter has been ridiculously mild, and I did find that using my my humidifier at night made a big difference.
Well, I started my (mod) CG journey last summer. July I started SORT OF doing it, but by August I went full out. (then I realized mod-cg was better more me, and I ended up sticking to that!). So I never REALLY went through a CG summer, but I was hoping that the protein would help the issue. Glad to hear that's helped for you! Maybe it'll be better this year! |
