Adding glycerin to hair

Has anyone ever added glycerin(either on its own, in conditioner or homemade products) to their hair? The shampoo and conditioner I use are great but they don't contain glycerin whereas the other products I used before did. I'm starting to get some frizz now because of it so I would like to know if it would work just as well if I add it to my conditioner or FSG?

I know that products like Curl Keeper contains glycerin but it's too pricy for my liking.

Thanks. 😌

Ok. Don't think in crazy - lots of people on here do this!

I use KY in my hair for glycerin! I have added a little glop to my FSG in my palm, and I've used it on my hair just before getting out of the shower. I think I've use it over LI under gel, too when I wasn't using FSG.

I know it sounds crazy, but it's got some good frizz fighting ability. And it's cheap!!

Well that's something I never would have considered trying! I might have to take a walk to the drugstore later on tonight to see if I can buy some. Is there a specific one I should look for? I know there are different ones on the market.

Thanks!😊
