Default suave and itchy head

hey
has anyone else experienced an itchy head from using suave? we don't have it in the uk but when i go to America to visit my boyfriend i use it, i noticed my head was itching and figured it must have been the suave as the only other things i was using was curls milkshake and spiral cream - which i use here.
I have been home for 2 days and now i'm not using suave my head isn't itching. Has anyone else had this problem and what is in it that was making my head itch?
this kinda sucks as the only reason i was using suave was because i couldn't find vo5 oasis almond and honey shampoo and conditioners anywhere

I've never used suave but you could try doing an acv rinse to get rid of the itchiness. You are probably allergic to something in it. Why not use another brand of shampoo from now on?

Yeah i guess i will have to use something else, or just take my own stuff from the uk which i don't want to do as it's unnecessary weight in my luggage.
the only reason i was using suave was cause i'd heard good things about it and couldn't find the vo5 oasis that i liked, oh well .

Could be the 2 'm' preservatives in it that you're sensitive to. Which Suave were you using? I wonder if it could have anything to do with the water.

I was using the toasted vanilla and sugar one, i don't like the smell of the coconut one or any others that i smelled.

i doubt it's the water as when i was using the little bit of vo5 oasis that i had left over or the body shop honey shampoo and conditioner my head was fine.

The preservatives used in Suave are highly allergenic (methylchlorisothiazolinone and methylisothiazolinone).

That's what I was thinking it's the two m preservatives.
I use suave, v05 and white rain, none of them give me the itches.
I"m currently using that toasted one now it works just fine for me.

Some products do make me itch, lotions with peppermint do sometimes for some reason. I'm not allergic that I know of but I have sensitive skin on my arms and neck where the itching sometimes happens with peppermint.
