Default Find out what type my hair is?

Hello!

So I am new to cg and currently trying to become a cg (I stopped using shampoo just I accidentally have a conditioner with a silicone) and I want to figure out my hair type, texture, and porosity but how can I find out? Can you please give some tests that I can do to find out? Thanks!

If you enter in any of your queries into the search bar you will find tons (and really, I mean TONS!) of threads and article dedicated to just these questions.

As far as type, go here: Hair Types on NaturallyCurly.com

Also, there is a thread dedicated to starting newbies off right: Start Here!
