Going to Thailand!

Because my college is awesome, I have the chance to visit Thailand for a month in May through a study abroad program! I'm super excited for it, however... I'm worried a little about how my hair will hold up. During May in Thailand, temperatures usually rise to 120 degrees Fahrenheit or higher and the humidity is suffocating... so I'm debating on whether or not I should bother with styling gel and conditioner or just braid my hair for the entire trip.

Does anyone have tips on how to care for curls in hot, humid, tropical climates?

2c/3a, low porosity, very fine and barely holds a style!
Low-poo: Kinky Curly Moisturizing Shampoo
Co-wash: Suave Naturals
Leave-in: Nature's Gate
Gel: KCCC
How exciting!

Do your curls like humidity? Mine do, and when I go to India, my curls love it. It's very humid where I go. I just normally use conditioner, and my curls perk right up. Your hair will probably take longer to dry. Mine takes forever, because of the humidity. The KCCC already has a long dry time, doesn't it? You could try your regular routine, and if it doesn't work, you could pin it up.

If your hair doesn't like humidity, maybe you can seal it with something. I'm not very much help in that department.

Pre Co-wash: Coconut oil (plain & rosemary)
Co-wash: Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle or Trader Joe's Nourish Spa
Rinse out: GVP Conditioning Balm
Leave-in/Styling: Moisture Maniac with Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner on top
I'm not sure if my hair likes humidity or not, but I'm guessing no because usually it gets super frizzy and large.... hahaha. I figured KCCC wouldn't be the best product to use for frizz, especially since it takes so long to dry already. Are there any stronger gels that would hold my style better, or should I just not bother trying?
