Possible GFTN and GFSAS Replacements!

Hey everyone, just wanted to alert you all that I found something that could work as a replacement for our beloved and sadly siliconeified GFSAS and GFTN. Renpure Organics has released two new lines, Brazilian Keratin and Argan Oil. They both contain moisturizing ingredients, such as oils, fatty alcohols, etc; and are free of silicones, parabens, gluten and otherwise harsh chemicals. The shampoos, styling products and such in the lines also look very promising. I gave a more detailed post over in the product review forum:

Attention GFSAS/GFTN lovers -- Renpure Organics as a possible replacement!

And I just wanted to let you all know, because I'm super excited about this discovery and I know a lot of people are in quite the panic! Good luck everyone, please let me know how these products work for you!

Haha, see, I love a loose and smooth look for my waves (my hair is so strange -- depending on how I apply product, I can have either big loose waves or huge ringlety spirals), so I tend to go for smoothing and straightening products. So it doesn't bother me But I can see the concern, since most curly girls DO want curl enhancement!

I'm super anxious to try the argan oil one. It sounds so perfect; to be honest I really only went for the Brazilian Keratin one because my RiteAid didn't have the Argan Oil :/ I'll pick some up this weekend when I have time to hop around from drugstore to drugstore, hehee.

But I really hope you all like these products as much as I did! I'm so excited about it. I was really going to be lost without my GFSAS, but this makes me feel better.

Lol! Yes, do let us know how it works if you do try it this weekend!!

I'm eager to try it - but also wary, too - what if I fall in love and they go and reformulate?? Lol!! Or discontinue it??

See, Garnier?? You've damaged me!!!

Ok... This may sound stupid... But the keratin one is in a line of straightening products. Is that going to affect curl pattern, formation, definition, etc?

That's why I'm leaning toward the argan. At least for the consish - I already have a good low-poo, tho I'm willing to try others, of course.

Cannot wait for the results to be posted! Wonder what would happen if we all wrote a nastygram to GF to let them know we want the old back & won't buy the new. I betcha if everyone who used it did a quick email, they would bring back the old...just a thought.

Someone DID write them. The response was generic. I'm sure Garnier couldn't care less what we think. :/

It's very easy to ignore one letter, because I'm sure they get the odd, random complaint all the time. The key would be for lots of people to comment on the same thing. That would get their attention, even if the reply letter was still generic.

If you look at the volume of the people just on this site that use it is quite substantial. If we all wrote them and when their sales numbers reflect that, maybe they would reconsider?

I just got on their website and the "contact us" wouldn't work. So I created an account with them and tried it again. It still didn't work. So, I went to their Facebook page and posted that myself & hundreds of others wouldn't be buying their products until the cones are removed.

I wonder how long that post will last on their wall, lol

So how does everyone like the Kertatin line? Right now, my rinse out/co-wash is Cure Care, which I loooove! It has kertain in it, but it doesn't straighten my hair, just makes it sooo soft.
