#1 Curl Enhancer is Tigi Catwalk - Curlesque (Curls Rock) Curl Amplifier ? Not CG?

I am desperate of a curl enhancer. Lately my hair has been going somewhat straight & I hate it. I have tried AG recoil & it doesn't work & I am hoping to make FSG soon. I like KKKC but I want a few things to rotate. I am thinking of trying Tigi Catwalk - Curlesque (Curls Rock) Curl Amplifier even though it has a cone because I have seen it as the #1 curl enhancer on a list from this site. I lo-pow with KK Come Clean so I think I will be okay with build up...does anyone have any experience with this product? Thanks in advance!!

I personally found that product to give me terrible build up. At the time I was using a sulfate free shampoo but it still really built up on me. I actually loved it until I started noticing the build up issue!
My hair: 3b, corkicelli, medium porosity, medium texture, medium/thick density

Co-wash: DevaCurl NoPoo
Rinse-out: GVP Conditioning Balm
Leave-in: KCKT, Suave Naturals Coconut, or my rinse-out!
Gel: SS FHG (my new HG!!)... I also like HESMU, AIF, CJ CQ, BRHG, CJ PP and the occasional LALSG

Likes: Plopping!
Dislikes: Glycerin

CG and loving it!
Before I went CG, this was my go-to for when I wanted to wear my hair curly. AWESOME product, but I could never use it now since my hair feels so weird with any 'cones now. The KC Come Clean will probably get it out, but I'm not totally sure. If you really like it, you could always clarify once a week or so to make sure you are not getting build-up.
FIA: 2b-c/f/i, normal porosity/elasticity I think?

Current favs:
lo-poo: Giovanni
Co-Wash: V05 Kiwi Lime
RO: CJ Beauticurls,
LI: Ouidad Botanical Boost
PT/DT: Emergencee, Biolage Condish Balm
Stylers: LALSG, Aussome Volume Gel
There is an article on NC.com about the one cone in this product because it does not act like a typical cone- it evaporates off of the hair during the drying process, so it's not supposed to build up at all. However, the down side of this is that it can be drying to the hair. And I can vouch for the results- used it today with their mousse, which is CG.

Regardless, Come Clean will remove any cones from the hair.

I actually just used this today! I loved the old version, the new version, not so much. However, I put a tad of leave in under, then some Biolage Gelly on top, and air dried...Came out nice! The other ladies are right, there is one cone, but it *should* evaporate. That's not to say other ingredients could disagree or build up on your hair...But if you low poo, you should be ok...Why not try and see if it's successful? If it works wonders, in my opinion, it is worth the once in awhile clarify poo.
2b/3a, normal/high porosity, fine/medium texture, medium density, low elasticity

The Curls Rock was the first product I tried when my hair suddenly went super wavy - just before going CG. At that time, it did work pretty well and I was using it everday. I found that I got a lot of build-up from it and my hairdresser suggested a clarifying shampoo (so I used the Ion Effective Care version with no sulfates). I still have 2 bottles in my drawer. Maybe I'll used them again, although I've been free from all cones for at least 6 mos now, so my curl pattern is stronger than it was in my early days of using the Curls Rock. I have no idea how much better my hair would look if I tried it again (but the buildup was bad for me!)

Style: scrunch/ diffuse, then air dry. I don't Have much frizz at all
The funny this is that I used this product a couple of years ago before I heard of CG. I think I tossed what was left of it when I discovered Deva products (still about two years before I learned about CG). I wasn't really impressed back then and was hesitant to try it again even after hearing people rave about it. Maybe it's because my techniques have changed, or maybe it's because my hair is so much healthier now than it was back then, but I am amazed at the results today. As in I can't stop looking at my hair amazed.

Thank you so much for all of the replies!! I bought the older version last night (Bed Head TIGI Catwalk Curls Rock Curl Amplifier) & read that the new version is better so I want to try that one first. I think I may try it out & clarify once a week like msg suggested. I'm not too worried about the drying b/c my hair gets pretty greasy on day 2 (I will never have 2nd day hair). I tried Samy Get Curls Reactivating Lotion & it was horrible!! Made my hair straight! So I was hesitant to try this out but with all the great things people are saying I am stopping by ulta tonight in hopes I can grab it there, thanks again!

I have a bottle of the old verson of this product. (I'm assuming this is the cream and not the spray, right?)

At first, I liked it. But then it immediately started to build up on my hair and my hair was being bratty to me, so I stopped. I still have some left in my bathroom, but since I went hardcore CG, I'm too scared to touch any silicones now. Who knows what the future should hold, though, because at the moment I'm trying to heal my hair from the inside-out.

It smells super nice, uuuuughhhhh!

This was my first ever curly product
I thought it worked very well! I didn't use it to scrunch, though, but I finger twirled my hair with it and it stayed like that. Basically, this stuff will dry just as it looks when you put it on when it's wet. I stopped using it when I went all natural. I tried it again once, but it totally dried me out and gave me no definition. Weird...
