Default Question about plopping and volume

Does plopping reduce volume/pouffiness. I'm always looking for ways to stop the triangular syndrome.
I'm a 2c/3a just trying to find what works for me and vey confused.

Well, it doesn't reduce volume/pouffiness, but it may relieve triangle syndrome since it adds root height/curl for many. That would make it un-triangular!

...It's a siggie.

I agree with wild_sasparilla about the root curl.

A good way to deal with triangle head is the right cut. Long layers -- meaning not much distance between the longest and shortest layers -- work the best for most curlies.
