Could you rate these brands?
I was just wondering which curly hair line is overall the best. If you could rate these curly lines from 1-20, that would be awesome! Any other comments would be helpful too. If there are any great brands I didn't mention, feel free to add them. Thanks!
1.) DevaCurl
2.) Jessicurl
3.) Kinky-Curly
4.) Darcy's Botanicals
5.) Miss Jessie's
6.) Curly Kinks
7.) Mop Top
8.) Botticelli Botanicals

It's completely subjective...do you want our opinions about how the products work on our own hair?(If we've used any of the products). Or are you looking for information about how the products work for people that have similar hair properties to your hair? Or are you trying to get a feel for what brands, in general, seem to be most successful?
Also, you said you wanted a rating 1-20, but you've listed only 8 product lines...

I find that no single brand works for me. I get my best results from mixing and matching products- I like Curl Junkie cleansers and conditioners, but haven't been wowed by their styling products, I like CHS Treatment Shampoo and Curl Keeper but didn't like their protein treatment. Plus what one curly will swear by, another curly will hiss at. For example, I love Curl Keeper and Re:coil, but there are plenty of people who don't.

I think she meant give each brand a rating on a scale 1-20, not necessarily order or best to worst.
Those are certainly the most popular brands (which I've yet to try, save for Kinky-Curly). I'm always on the lookout for new curly lines

Could you rate these brands?
I still really can't do this for an entire product line. They would all end up with a perfectly middle of the road score because there are some products I like and others I don't. I'm the same way with cosmetics. Some companies do certain products better than others.

So - here's what I am able to provide. I don't know if it will help at all, though.
1.) DevaCurl - for me: 18/20. All of their products worked beautifully for my hair, and I used them for several months with success. However, most of their products contain glycerin, and some contain protein. I try to use minimal amounts of both. Also, their stylers are based on gels, and my hair responds better to curl creams.
2.) Jessicurl - for me: 10/20. They began working very well, but it turned out I had an allergy to something in the lineproducts that made my eyes swell and the skin peel. They also made my forehead break out like crazy. I love Too Shea! (unscented) and Jessicurl Hair Oil (unscented or Island Fantasy work for me). Rockin Ringlets and Confident Coils work well to enhance curls and provide hold, but after a couple of weeks they really dried out my hair.
3.) Kinky-Curly - 20/20 This line is FANTASTIC. I use and love every product in the line (4).
I haven't tried the other brands, but in addition to Kinky-Curly - I love Curl Junkie. I can't really decide which one I like better, because their products works so well for me, depending upon my needs on any particular day.
I really like Cure Care, too, which I noticed you use. :-)
There are a few products from Sally's which work beautifully, and some of them are cheap! The ones that work great for me are As I Am Leave-in Conditioner, CURLS Coconut Colada Conditioner, As I Am Curl Jelly, As I Am Hydration Elation, Ion Curl Shaping Creme, Ion Curl Spray Gel, Roots of Nature Mango Cupuacu Curl Reviving Spray, Queen Helene Mint Julep Shampoo.
Hope this helps...

I think it's gonna depend on hair type, and as Corrina said, different products within each line.
For example, some people love CJ stylers, but I don't - except for CIAB. I like their conditioners, but like other brands more. You see? And some people with completely different curl patterns than mine are gonna rave about some lines that I'm probably not going to like at all.
But for what it's worth, here's my 2 cents
1. Deva - 2/20. Really hate this line. The OneCondish was very nice - before they reformulated it. Can't think of anything else to say about this line that redeems it. The price points are just horrible for what you get, too.
2. Jessicurl. 0. I tried this a long time ago, granted - back when I first went CG. So they have new stuff, reformulated stuff, etc. And I've learned alot about my hair, and about products, since then. If I retried the line now, it might work. I just haven't been tempted to retry it. But at the time, this line did nothing for me at all.
3. Kinky Curly. 7/20. I tried to like this line alot because so many curlies did. I don't know if what they sell at Target is different from what you order online, maybe there's a difference? It just didn't work for me. Dried me out.
4-7. haven't tried I'd love to try Darcy's and Miss Jessie's. To be honest though, the price point on Miss Jessie's is a turn off. Just out of my budget. I keep looking on the swap board for a bargain, sample, or something I can afford though. LOL
I'd also love to try Uncle Funky's Daughter (not on your list but I think, given your list and what I've heard, you might want to try them out)
8. BB. 15/20. Tried both her gel and her mudd and liked them alot - she's inspired me to make my own concoctions. I'd love to try her treatments and stuff - just not in my budget at the moment. I'd recommend giving her stuff a try for sure - or else making your own if you're adventurous.
Like others, I recommend branching out and trying other brands that aren't as expensive as these. You can get some great products at less than boutique prices. Sally's has the GVP line. Yes to... is a great line. Trader Joe's has great stuff, and cheap. My local health food store (Lassens) has a ton of wonderful product, and most Whole Foods will also stock a good supply of CG items too. I used to love the AG Re:Coil but it stopped working for me. I think it was the cone in the LI (Fast Food) which you don't have to use but goes well with the Re:Coil. I may retry it later.

Jessicurl's styling line works great for me. Kinky Curly and Deva, not at all.
