Default I got my curl back!

While the new Steiner stuff I've been trying out has been pricey, I have gotten the curl back that I lost this winter.

What a relief! I missed my curls.

Curl on Steiner - and this is at the end of the day too.

Second day curl - decent enough. Excuse the bad photo. I need to recharge the batteries.

Congrats on finding a conditioner that works for you finally!
What a difference a good conditioner makes doesn't it?
Your hair looks much happier now!

Thank you ladies.

On an even better note. It worked well today and it's nice and cold. It's about 10F (-12 C) and my hair is still curly and bouncy. Since it's been just over a week, I'm fairly confident that I have no ingredient issues. I know that I'll be using this until the summer changes in my hair make me re-examine my routine.

but, a conditioner, DT and curl cream from the same line isn't too bad.

wow. With the new products your hair is much more spirally.

Either way, though, your hair is pretty.

It's funny. For most of my life, I've been wanting straight hair. Now, I find myself trying to make it as curly as I can get it!

I hear ya. I never thought that I'd try to make my hair culier...

While the before doesn't look hideous, it was frizzier IRL. I notice that some say their frizz doesn't show up well in photos. It would get a bit static-y looking. Weird hows pics can look nicer than real life.

What was more irritating was that my hair felt scratchy/itchy on my neck and just didn't feel right. I don't expect the softness of a finer hair curly, but I don't want my hair to make me itchy either.

Now, with the new stuff, my neck is happier. If I can just keep my hands out of my hair now, it would help. It feels so much better that I keep touching it.

I'm ordering the steiner condish! It is pricey but I like the ingredients and I'm looking for a deep condish. It doesn't say deep condish but is that how you use it? Or do you use it as a daily?

They have a separate DT. I use both the DT and the regular condish.

Just check it out before you spend.

regular condish (I use each time I get my hair wet - about 5-6 days a week)

DT (about once a week right now)

http://www.timetospa.com/product.asp...&ParentOid=165

I feel more comfortable rec'ing the Dt (even with the price) because there aren't a ton of protein free DTs out there for those who are very protein sensitive.

I also don't know how finer haired curlies would do with it. I don't have any issues with overconditioning.

Anywhoo, if you do get something and hate it, I'll take it off your hands. More for me, and less money waste for you.

I just noticed that! Good thing I didn't hit purchase. I wanted the DT only. I am a finer haired curly and wheat sensitive. I'm going to get the DT and if I don't like it, I'll let you know

Your hair definitely looks clumpier and coiler. Glad it's working for you.

I'm finding it hard to capture the subtle differences in my hair on camera. As vain as it sounds, I'm tring to do a pictorial diary of my styling products experiments. I'm trying to figure out what works best for me and trying to keep a record of it with pics online in my FOTKI. I know I look at the pics and think, "my hair looks better in this pic than when I look in the mirror."

maybe the pictoral hair thing is not going to work. Maybe I just need to keep a written diary. Maybe I just need to stop obsessing with my hair (Sorry, I'm thinking out loud here.)

Brio, I think a pictoral diary makes sense. It's just that that for me, I can see more IRL than in pics. I have to keep a written journal too to keep track of stuff.

Enough folks have mentioned that they see more issues IRL than in photos that I believe them. I don't think they're being over critical or fishing for compliments. I just think it's one of those things with home photography.
