Damn, I just walked by these in the drugstore today and, like so many of you, didn't even bother to pick them up under the assumption that there would be massive cones in them.

Next grocery store trip, they're mine.

Which ones exactly are cone free/ I see they have a few variations in the light pink bottle and some had cones.

I bought this last week (it says something like "for curly/wavy hair") and I do like it. The conditioner is lovely!

I saw the one for long, fine hair today, and it had lanolin (which is a wax) and amodimethicone. Both ingreds were past halfway in the list though.

I got the one for Medium to long hair that is curly/wavy. It doesn't have any cones.

hockeymomof3, did you ever try this?

I did today. When it was wet, I had great, clumpy curls. But the second my hair was dry, despite all the nice clumpy curls, my curls were stringy, barely wavy like they wilted, and fluffy-frizzy. Through the day, the definition broke up into full-on poofball frizz with a frazzled nature that mimicked dry frizz and crimped frizz. However, for me, crimped frizz is about suffocation, and since my hair felt very, very, very dry, I think it was more about thirst and looking for water. Sadly, this didn't work for me, but anyone with less dry hair might really like it, especially based on my wet hair results.

Oh, it's definitely worth mentioning that the fragrance was extremely perfumed and strong enough to linger in the hair so smell before purchasing.

After seeing my results with the condish, I'm thinking 90% of Leilani42's good results could be from the Tightly Wound so now I'm serious lemming-ing that. But she could just be less dry than me.

No, I really didn't like the smell...I could tell it would linger, ya know...I don't really want something *that* strong.

I recently bought a bottle of Vive conditioner for highlights & it has only amodimethicone as far as I could tell. It was on clearance, I guess because of the new Vive line. Who's tried this one?

LB, I may end up going out and getting it just cause a) I have a coupon and b) it's pretty cheap to begin with....just so I can see how it does (the one for curls).

I did a search on conchiolin and it's a protein derived from mollusks. o__0

I wouldn't really be surprised if the really awesome thing was the Tightly Wound. I did a co wash with Suave Trop Coco and decided to not put in any heavy conditioner, and my hair still turned out great. My hair doesn't tend to be really dry. Sorry you didn't like it!

I'm pretty sure that was the pearl protein.

So I smelled it again and decided that it didn't smell that bad....so I bought it.

ETA: Wet.. Its looking ok (don't want to jinx it). I co-washed with Suave coconut. I conditioned with the vive and left some in after rinsing. After squezzing a little bit of water out, I scrunched in Joiwhip and plopped for 10 min with a tshirt. I just got finished diffusing a little.

Another add:Mixed feelings. My hair is shiny and there is minimal frizz but its stringy and only curled nicely in spots. Maybe it will be ok in the summer? I still haven't found that nice *winter* product.

I think this might be better as rinse out ONLY... I had horrible hair for the rest of the day. It felt sticky and gross. I had to shower again today just to get all of that out and I'm trying it again as a co-rinse
