I water wash before my protein treatment and then co-wash after it. Then I do my deep treatment and just rinse that out.

Co-wash: Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle or Trader Joe's Nourish Spa
Rinse out: GVP Conditioning Balm
Leave-in/Styling: Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner with Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie on top

Some of us do, and some of us don't. I guess it just depends on what your hair needs. Mine is dry and doesn't need it so I don't.

I also do a water wash before a PT. I sometimes do a DT afterwards, it just depends on how my hair is feeling. If I don't DT, I use a low poo. Some find it drying and some don't. It's all about finding what works best for your hair.

yes you can, same curlies, like myself, have to rely on low poo'ing or at least have to once a week. Co washing doesnt work for same of us, make sure that it has no sulfates or silicones in it though.
