Default Protein free leave in?

I appreciate all the responses about protein free conditioners. I'm still not convinced that protein is really the problem lately, but I'm giving it a try.

Now I need protein free leave in recs. I've been putting off a Curlmart order until I figure out why my hair is so crappy lately, so I would particularly like drugstore recs.

TIA!

I use my rinse out conditioner as my leave in as well.

How has the hair been for you? Any specific difficulties?

That's the Steiner, right?

Really dry! Lots of surface frizz, especially around my hairline. Even though I'm conditioning and using oil like crazy. I think it might just be the really dry weather and the even drier indoor air, but it's weird that nothing's helping.

Does anyone use the B2B Pomegranate as a leave in?

Yeah, I understand about the drier air.

I had read about winter changes, but didn't expect such a drastic change in my hair. I'll take summer frizz ove winter frizz any day.

Yes, i use the Steiner. As much as I love it, I still would only recommend it to the very protein sensitive or those who cannot find anything else. Just because it is thre priciest conditioner I've bought.

I hope that yours is just a lack of moisture and not a protein sensitivity, It's a pain.

What have you been trying so far? Have you been using anything heavy? Do the hevy things weigh you down?

For me, protein dryness felt different than 'regular' dryness. Winter dry was sort of brillo pad like, and protein dry felt straw like and/or brassy like it felt when I gave myself blonde highlights in high school.
