Videos, pictures, tips...thanks in advance

I just want to be able to truely be able to ignore my hair for weeks...

Hey Libra. Sorry, I don't have any experience with extensions or advice for you, but you might cross post this over in the 4a forum. The ladies there might have some ideas for you.

The longest I've kept my hair braided was a month but it does take a lot of care each week if not each day. The problem areas to watch out for are the scalp. If you can manage scalp buildup then you will keep them longer.

Make sure you drink lots of water because the scalp is exposed and will dry fast.

Also, try to keep product off the scalp except for oils. Then you can learn to gently wash the scalp with braids.

I think my biggest problem will be how loose many of the braids are at the scalp, I don't get build up and can get away with water only washing and the only product I plan to use is gel or hairspray to hold down my ends that are poking out of the braids.
