Which is better?
Would co-washing every day or low-pooing every few days (with nothing else in between) be better for your hair? Or about the same?
Right now I do a combo of both - if I wash two days in a row, the 2nd day is a co-wash day. But if it's 2 days later, I'll use a gentle low poo. 3 days and I'll use a low-poo with coco betaine.
Bc I have young children, I can't always take a shower every day, and often when I take one I don't have time to wash my hair. So with any refreshing attempts, etc, my hair tends to stack up with product. That's why I tend to go for low-poo. (plus my hair is so porous, I think it gets gummed down with layer upon layer of product.)
That "schedule" varied depending on how my hair feels on a given day, but that's generally it.
Anyhow, I'm wondering if daily co-washes are better than low-pooing every few days. It seems like less washing would be better, but then again maybe the frequent co-washing puts more moisture into hair?
