GVPCB as DT?

I *think* I've read on here that some ladies use GVPCB as a deep conditioning treatment. Can someone explain to me how? Or if you use any conditioner as a DT, I'd love to learn! I've only used Aussies 3 min miracle which sucked for me.
Thanks!!
Are you CG? If so, I THINK Aussie 3MM has a cone in it. I could be wrong, but I think I recall that being the case.

But to answer your question - I DO! I LOVE GVPCB! I use it as my RO, as a LI, and as a DT!

All I do is mix in a little EVOO and honey with it, put it in my hair, and leave in for however long I want or need to.

Sometimes I'll add another condish to it - usually SM Masque. Sometimes I'll add a little ACV to it, as well.

HTH!

I've used GVPCB as a DT.
I'll wet my hair, gently detangle and use a wide tooth comb to distribute a generous amount of the conditioner to my hair. I'll clip it up, put a plastic shower cap over my head, sometimes I'll even put a towel turban over the plastic cap for extra heat retention to help the conditioner to penetrate the hair. Depending on how much time I have, I'll leave it on for 1 hour, maybe more, then rinse out with cool water. Usually on days I DT, I'll give my hair a day off from styling products & heat, allowing it to air dry and just "be."

Other DT's I use are coconut oil, which I apply to dry hair in sections until my hair is nicely saturated with the oil, but not dripping. I'll do the same with the plastic cap, etc., but instead of rinsing out, I'll do a CO wash, followed by a regular rinse out conditioner. Olive oil can also be used if you don't have any coconut oil on hand.

Thanks!! That's very helpful! Yes i am CG and I know the 3mm has a cone.... I fell off the wagon for a while. Haha.
Oh! If I'm leaving my DT in for a while (hard to do anymore bc of my kids!), I put a bag on my head, then put a knit cap over the top. I'll even sometimes put a heating pad on my head first for a few minutes.

Yesterday I did a variation of the CWC method! I posted about it yesterday - worked so great!!!

You can use any conditioner as a DT. If I'm just doing a DT I low poo my hair first, squeeze as much water out of my hair as possible and then rake a bunch of my conditioner through (love CJ Curl Rehab!). I put my hair in a plastic shower cap and let it sit for an hour and and then rinse out and style like usual.
Coarse texture, normal-high porosity, normal elasticity (Komaza Care), very weak waves
cleanser: Redken Fresh Curls Shampoo, CJ Daily Fix

rinse out: CJ Beauticurls, CJ A&OO, CJ Smoothing

I agree with Asianrunner, any condish can be a DT if applied right.
I've been making a mash up of GVPCB, Cure Care, and honey, applying a ton of it, put on a showercap, wrap in a cloth/towel, then lay on a heating pad!
