I've recently subscribed to the less-is-more theory. In my case, I'm not using anything but 8 to 12 drops of baby oil on my 3b M ii hair. It is marvelously shiny, soft, bouncy, and defined.
do you apply the baby oil to wet hair(really wet) and rake through or how do you do it?

I divide my wet (but not soaking or dripping wet) hair in two parts on either side of my head like ponytails. I put four drops in my hands and smooth over the left side from the ears down, then do the same with the right. I apply whatever is left in my hands (very little) to the crown. Then I flip over and apply four drops to the nape and smooth down to the ends. Then I scrunch or smoosh to work the oil through and promote clumping, and plop in a tea towel for about 20 minutes. Then clip until it is mostly dry. That's all.

My curls aren't perfect, there is some frizz, but I love that they are light and not plastic-y looking or feeling.

thanks, I'm going to give this a try, my hair seems to love MO so I will report back if it works
