What style are trying to achieve with the gel? Cuz I find frizz is nicely controlled with either unrefined shea butter or Miss Jessie's Curly Buttercreme/Curly Pudding. Keep in mind I am doing twist or braid outs.

I get some frizz too, and think it is different lengths of hair that are growing out and not long enough to blend in. My gray hairs are growing our in fairly tight spirals. Can't wait to see what it's like when I'm all gray. I find the frizz is controlled some after gel or mousse, if I wet my hands and gently gloss over my hair - helps the frizz stick to the other hair.
