Can I no-poo my hair again after yesterday?

Yesterday, I finally got my first Devacut. I really like it and while my hair is trying to adjust to the new products, it seems to already make it feel more healthier in a way.

However, my scalp has always been very dry and even the casual scrubbing of the stylist could not remove the white flakes due to my dry scalp. She used the no-poo, so I brought a small bottle of that along with the small bottle of Devacurl one condition. I also brought a full size of Arc Angel.

Would it be safe to use no-poo in my hair again today? I will be going to work and I don't want to stand there scratching at my hair. When I wash my hair, I REALLY scrub my scalp-fingernails and all-and I am able to find relief in like a couple of days until the tight/itchy feeling comes back.

I used No-Poo daily for two years. It's a personal preference. It certainly won't harm your hair, if that's what you're asking.

That should be fine, but for gentle cleansing and flakes, I do tea tree rinses They really work!

Just take about 16-20oz of water, put it in a spray bottle, and put in about 20 drops of tea tree oil. After cowashing/conditioning, spray it all over your scalp (and hair if it's dirty,) and really scrub it in. The bottle lasts me a while, and I haven't had bad flakes since I started it. Plus, it cleans my hair. It's probably the only reason I could stay CG, hahaha

LI: Kinky-Curly Knot Today
Styler: Beautiful Curls Gel for Wavy to Curly Hair

all-natural products, light moisture, humectants, argan oil
silk protein, synthetic ingredients, heavy oils/products, cowashing
Using your nails to scrub your scalp may be irritating your skin and the flakes/itchiness may be a result of that. Should use your fingertips, not your nails. In some stores a rubber disc shaped head scrubber is sold, it has little rubber finger like projections on it for scalp massage.

UPDATE: I no-poo'd my hair again and did the famous Deva 3 step: No-poo, then condition, then the styling gel. Well, I added a fourth step of using a regular Revlon hairdryer and the Ouidad diffuser... but anyway!

Oh my god... my hair is looking fabulous. It's like... 98% frizz free. This has NEVER happened before aside from those super rare good hair days that we curly-girls get once in a blue moon. I have a feeling I'll be seeing even more better hair days! Not to mention, the products smell really nice! My hair is soft without losing any gorgeous volume, feels all natural, and my hair is starting to curl up even while they were in shower! Before when I wet my hair in the shower, my hair just hangs there straight-ish and limp... but even as I let it hang there all wet, I can see my hair snap up and curl up on it's own! NEVER happened to me before!

I'll be putting up some pictures of my new haircut and how my hair has been reacting to the new Deva products. But so far I'm REALLY liking them a lot.
