Arc Angel has much more hold than AnGel. I have both, but prefer the stronger hold of Arc Angel.

+1.
Will not repurchase AnGel since I had to add another product on top to get enough hold (No plan to repurchase ArcAngel either though. Worked fine, but was not thrilled with it).

Well, I am still experimenting. I have the Deva foam, which is not enough by itself, but then again, no mousse is, and I have done best with mousse and gel. I exchanged the ArcAngel for the mousse because my hair felt too coated with the ArcAngel. I wish the ArcAngel came in small bottles, so I could try the combo of Deva foam with a bit of ArcAngel, but my salon does not carry it. So I thought I would try the foam with a bit of the AnGel, which is does have in trial sizes. It remains to be seen whether this will work the same or better than Aussie mousse, and a bit of LSLSG, the much more economical combo.

Won't repurchase either because I've since found other products I like better, but I didn't care for AnGel at all - little to no hold. I liked ArcAngel pretty well, but I had to be sure to rotate it with other gels as it tended to build up on me. Too bad because I love it's scent

I like Angell better than Arcangell when used alone. The Angell when dry leaves my hair kinda stiff, but it scrunches out beautifully! I think the cast that it forms over my hair protects the formed curl when drying by preventing it from frizzing out.
Still, I do like to have another firmer hold mousse or gel over the top. Usually it's Joico Joiwhip.
