i want to beat the poof and frizz!!

i have shoulder length beautiful curly hair the only problem is when it dries!! it gets poofy and big and the curls just dissappear!! not to mention the frizz... i use mousse and hairspray with a defusser plus leave in conditioner but it doesn't do the job. i would like to wear it down but bc of these problems i cant. and even if i can get it to look half way descent, i need a headband bc the front always gets in my way. ive gone to many different salons and paid a lot for 'expert' help but they always seem to make it look worse! i do have long layers which help but im still unhappy.. please help!!

Give us the names of the products you're using and someone might be able to help. Sometimes the ingredients in the products might be too drying for your hair.

Do you use a microfiber towel? Do you shampoo or cowash? Let us know more of your routine and product names and hopefully we can help you get rid of your frizz :).

well i use tresemme mousse and hairspray and silk elements leave in conditioner. i also use the anti-poof sunsilk shampoo and conditioner. i shampoo every 3 days or so and just rinse and sometimes condition (if theres time) the other days. then i have my difusser. i dont know what kind of towel i have, i am guessing it is cotton. i dont rubbing it too much, i know to air dry curls (or difuse) for the best results and i dont comb either.

How are you applying your products? Some people find that either raking in products or scrunching either heightens or eliminates frizz. Sometimes it's all in how you apply.
