We've rolled out two new changes to our website this week. The first is a new logo for NaturallyCurly.com which we feel is more fun and sophisticated and better reflects our mission and audience.

The second is a cleaner navigation bar to help you find the content you need more easily. These changes are the first steps in creating a better user experience on NaturallyCurly.com and all of our websites. We will be gradually rolling out more tweaks and changes over the next few months, and we welcome your input in helping us create a better community and experience for everyone.
I like the old logo better -this one looks kind of generic to me. But the navigation is good!
It's nice, but when I try to sign in on the curltalk boards the "hair types" button overlaps the "sign in" button and I can't sign in. I can type in my user name and password, but I can't hit the sign in button. I have to sign in on the home page. That one works.

I agree with caramix3a about the logo. It looks very generic especially coupled with the new color sceme. I really like the navigation bar! It is much more user friendly. I also like the small circular icons in the top right corner; everything looks much neater.

I actually like the new logo. I think it has a cleaner, more sophisticated look. The old logo kinda reminded me of a preteens bedroom color scheme. I do find the navigation so much easier. Before I would go to click on something and if my mouse went the slightest bit too far I ended up somewhere else. That doesn't happen to me now. Overall I think it was a good choice.

including HOME on the top menu bar would make it a little easier to get back to home.

what i would love to see is on the bottom of the pages in curltalk , a menu to navigate curltalk, instead of having to scroll back to the top. :-)

I really liked the old, noodle head logo. I think it's much more catching.

After the new design to the forum, the pulldown menus are blocking out the existing text on the page. For example, in the Products section, when you click on "Ingredients" you can't actually read the ingredients of any of the products because the grey background of the rest of the pulldown menus block out the ingredients that show up. When you click on "add a review" you can't see half the options for adding a review because the pulldown menus don't retract so that you can add your review, so you can't select a curl rating or see what you are typing.

This happens in other screens too. when you are logging back into the forum, you can't click on "login" because the "login" button is imposed over the menu bar at the top of the page, and when you click on "login" you are instead clicking on "Hair Types," for example.

There are other quirks like this that have to do with the pulldown menus and the text underneath not being visible/accessible.

My favorite brands are Kinky Curly, As I am, Curly Kinks, Curl Junkie, and Darcy's Botanicals. Also love sealing with oils (loving argan oil right now) and styling with jelly products (KCCC is my current favorite). Mostly trying to keep it simple!

The color used for the logo look too much like Curly Hair Solutions.
Type: 3a fine & dense, with normal porosity, terrible product junkie
ROUTINE: LI, enhancer, gel, plop with Curlease towel, serum product (either CIAB or Gel-les'c), clip & diffuse.
Too many favourite products to list ... I finally have my routine that works and alot of products to choose from. My product stash is huge, but well loved !!!
