help with name of gel made for african americans...

There's a hair gel that I got at Sally's a looong time ago and I can't think of what it is called. It comes in a yellow plastic bottle with red writing. It's in the african american section of hair care. The gel is very light in consistency. Does anyone recall the name of it??
I think I might give it another go IF Sally's still carries it. I don't remember why I stopped using it. Maybe I found something better depending on what climate we were in -- I don't know.
But I do remember I went thru a few bottles. I don't think I've ever gone thru more than one bottle of any hair gel before.

Sorry I don't know what product you're talking about. But you can take a look at this website and see if anything looks familiar. It has tons of ethnic hair care and a lot of it is sold a Sally's too.

I've had problems with other products drying my hair out that didn't have wheat protein. Like deva products. I got horribly dry hair!

Oh really?! I'm a bit intrigued.

That's $2 cheaper than my gel.

The both of us seem to be having gel problems in this sub-freezing weather. So if it works for you, maybe it will for me too.

I'll let you know. As I recall, it doesn't have any hold at all. So you still need something if you need hold.

The gel has wheat protein in it, too, at least the one I have.

I would say it does not have a lot of hold. It's designed for jheri curl and leisure curl type styles, which I guess have pre-formed chemical curls and also use a bunch of products besides the gel, so maybe that's why. I don't even know why I have it!
