Thumbs down Started CG method, and curls are disappearing

My hair is soft but dry when i use a sulfate free cleanser daily. I don't use any silicone's either. I started the CG method and my hair is only looking weighed down and the curls are turning into flat waves. I have 3a&b hair. Is it just my hair needs the shampoo or am I missing something?

you might be using too much product, if your curls are looser you might just need a dime size of a light styler, and if you do the cg method you don't HAVE to use shampoo just we it in the shower and massage,

What products are you using exactly? Do you condition and style, too? Maybe you're overcleansing.
Also, if you liked your hair before CG, maybe CG isn't for you.

Have you determined your hair properties (texture, porosity, etc) yet? If not, this is a good place to start:
Live Curly Live Free - Curly Hair Basics

Knowing your hair properties is a huge help in figuring out products and techniques that will work for your hair. As you are seeing, curl pattern changes. Texture and and porosity are more consistent.

As dresendol mentioned, knowing what you're currently doing can help us point out where you might be running into issues. It could be overconditioning, it could be a lack of protein, it could be not using the right types of products for the dew points in your area, to name a few possibilities. There's also usually an adjustment phase that can last a couple of month for some people. So don't give up yet
