Hi all!!! I've been researching CG for a few months now and feel that I'm as prepared as I'm gonna be. I just want to post the products that I am thinking of using (before I actually go and buy them)and see if they look like a good place to start.

R/O & L/I: GVP Conditioning Balm

Oh and also a quick ? I work in a deli and I have to work a baseball hat everyday, how to I avoid breakage around the forehead?

Sounds great! I'd be careful with the GVP Balm as a leave-in, though, because I heard it's rich, so a little goes a longgggg way.

Maybe you could plop into the cap?

if you don't want to use GVPCB as a RO since it's so heavy I highly suggest Giovanni Direct Leave In. That stuff is the shiiiiiz

Thanks for the feedback, I'll try out the GVPCB first and if I find it too heavy I'll try the other.

As for plopping my hair into the hat, its definetly too long for that. My hair is about 4inches past bsl, and obviously curly and big. I have tried wearing a silk headband under the hat but then the hat slips off.

I wonder if you could add a tiny bit of oil or extra LI to the spots where your hat rubs? It might look greasy after you take the hat off tho...

You may need to be prepared to deal with KCCC as it can be a fickle friend. For some it takes awhile to figure out how to apply it and how much to apply ( i was one of those "lucky" people). It also does not always mix well with other products.

I use the GVP Conditioning balm as both a rinse out and a leave-in but my hair can take a lot of product without getting weighed down or looking greasy.
