Yeah, there are different types of frizz. I have low-normal porosity and have some inherent frizz just because I have different curl patterns living amongst each other (larger coffee stirrer curls mixed in with penspring coils). But my hair does not frizz up more than than I think is reasonable (meaning no one can see my frizz but me lol), and I live in a humid climate. So it just depends. But curly hair is more porous than straight hair because of the twists and bends, but I don't believe the difference is that significant because other factors also come into play.
