What should I do if I'm outside all the time?

Ok, so this summer I'm working as an intern at a State Park, outside almost everyday. Because of being sweaty and stuff, I shower at night. I've been here about a week and haven't used gel or anything besides cowashing, rinse-out and LI. I noticed my hair breaks a lot more than it used to. I should also mention that I'm living in a travel trailer, so my water and space is limited. I'm just wondering how I should change my routine living here and only showering at night. (I used to shower first thing in the morning, do all my products, plop and air dry.) What do ya'll think I should do?

I work inside a small booth so I'm exposed to all of the elements (even the rain can blow in, lol) up in Northern MI. A hat used to be my best friend, but I'm resisting the urge to wear one, at least until the dews head north as well.
I ALWAYS shower after work and never go to bed dirty and sweaty! I might not be the greatest help to you because I just plopped yesterday for the very first time! One of Waterlily's videos finally inspired me to try it Then I diffused for about 5 minutes and went about my business.
At night, I put my hair into a loose pony tail and sleep on a sating pillow case, but I'm having a hard time refreshing it in the morning so that it looks similar to the "prior evening's" curls. I'm looking crunchy and producty from spritzing my hair with water and adding a little more gel. I just don't know what else to do, I need the hold and hate the frizz. Any ideas?
I just want to get rid of that bit of fuzziness from bed head. I'm afraid to pineapple because my scalp is so sensitive that the weight of all of my hair on top pulls and hurts me (
How in the world do you get a way with not using any gel?
If I'm going out or want to look presentable, I definitely have to use gel, sheilacurl! It's just that I wear my hair in a ponytail or braid or somehow up for work, and It seemed like a waste of gel. My main issue is my breakage, I've noticed a lot more of it recently. I guess I'll just experiment and see what works!

I don't know if I can help with breakage. Maybe try using a scrunchie and changing how tight or placement of the ponytail.

I work with kids in a summer day camp so I end up throwing my hair in a ponytail a lot! I try to do more PTs and DTs to help keep it healthy since it's also exposed to the sun.
