I love the pic britt!!! That is exactly what I am wanting!!! I know I will miss putting my hair in a pony tail, but I am definately going to give short a try. Hopefully I can find someone to do a good job like they did on yours!
I found this pic online when I was looking for some examples for my mom - looks pretty similar to Britt's (which is gorgeous!).

2c/3a, botticelli/wavy/'swavy (huh?)
fine, dense, normal porosity/elasticity, dry climate
My favorite brands are Kinky Curly, As I am, Curly Kinks, Curl Junkie, and Darcy's Botanicals. Also love sealing with oils (loving argan oil right now) and styling with jelly products (KCCC is my current favorite). Mostly trying to keep it simple!
Thanks so much guys, esp since that's my 1st post!! It's been a quick entry into Florida's rainy season and we were moving that day so it's not my hairs best, but almost 1yr into being cg I don't complain as much
allcurly1 I didn't see where you live, but I am lucky enough to live in Tampa Bay and go to Tiffany at Live
Curly, Live Free. She works magic! Let me know if you want a better angle or have any questions, but I def want to see your after pics
I tried to self cut but...hmm didnt turn out so well.
I live in houston it is hard to find a good stylist that I trust with my hair...
try Salon On Kirby - Kat has done my hair in the past (she's ouidad trained) - BUT she's only done mine when it's been super short (I've been growing out for the past six months so she's never touched my hair curly - I will be going to her when it's long enough, though)
also, if you search in salons, there is a deva trained person .. I think in the montrose-ish area.
If you havnt found one. My friend does a great job with my curly hair she is licensed an out of her home. I just got a bob style cut from here and my hair was little past shoulder length. If you would like her info let me know. I know this post is a year old.
