Lol! I don't even bother. He hasn't made any comments, but I know he notices all the products and such. (Tho I don't think I'm as bad as some, I must say... At least I hope...maybe? Lol!)

I fully realize he thinks I'm half crazy. Lol! But he's a guy, and has short, straight hair. HE COULD NEVER UNDERSTAND!!! Lol!!

I've been using MO as a sealer for a couple of months on my med-fine/normal/normal hair. After LI, I blot my hair, then use a few drops of MO. I put it on the ends first, then canopy, then scrunch it through the rest. I think it gives me curl enhancement, flyaway control and a healthy shine, Hope I continue to like it in higher dews.

I tried the mineral oil for the first time today. my hair is still wet, but I wondered how much you use? I only put it on the ends and the bottom where my hair is 3bish, hoping the weight would pull it out a little bit. Anyways, do you put it on the length of your hair? I need some towards the top, i think.
we'll see hwo we turn out.

I use 5-10 drops on very wet hair over LI. I smoothe it onto the nape sections (where I matt easily), then into the ends, and scrunch it upward into my hair.

I don't find it has any weight, tho, but if you use LI and a cream of sorts you may have some luck there.

Today I rinsed my RO until there was maybe 15% left, then did SM smoothie, mixed with a tiny bit of LI and the MO. SM soufflé over that, scrunched with a MF towel, then added a little AIF on the ends before plopping.

Out of plop and drying now... Curls look GREAT!!!

I'm so glad it worked for you!!!!

I rinse upside down, apply everything in my hair upside down, then plop, there is no "doing" my part. It does me. I can never decide where it ends up.

Ah. I thought that might be it. That has never worked for me, though maybe that's my fault as much as the method's, idk.

But your hair looks SO CUTE!! Love it!! Hope the success continues!!

I'm still loving sealing with a mix of 50/50 mineral oil and another oil..this is now a staple.

now that I figured out that the curl trigger was my issue, I'm going to give MO a try again. it was SO good that time, and that was the only time I didn't use them both. Maybe they hate each other?

I do a 50/50 mix with jojoba and MO sometimes, usually when my hair feels a little dry!

HoC, sounds like maybe they didnt play nice - not sure why, tho! It's not the mag sulf, bc I've used straight Epsom and products with mag sulf and never had a conflict. I'm guessing it a different ingredient in there. So weird how that works, isn't it??

I also do a 50/50 mix (4-5 drops each) of MO + either EVOO, EVCO, Argan or EO's oil blend. This is just enough, not too much or too little for me. Been loving how my hair turns out.

Yet another example of how different everyone's hair is. My hair is awful with mineral oil. I would use silicones before I use it and I don't use silicones either. Mineral oil builds up so badly on my hair that I have to use a clarifying shampoo at least twice to get it out.

I tried 5-6 drops of Johnson's baby oil with Shea and cocoa butter. I actually liked the results.
