Does this perfect conditioner exist?
A conditioner that has None of the following ingredients...
Protein
Glycerin
Aloe
Sulfates
Parabens
Wheat
Silicones
Gluten
Shea butter
Bad /drying/ alcohol
Any other non moisturizing ingredient
...That still makes your hair feel like silk.
Right now i'm using suave naturals everlasting sunshine and it gives great slip and feels moisturizing but I need more moisture damnit! I have low porosity hair so I do drown my hair in hot water before I wash it with condish wash ONLY....yet I'm still looking for my HG.
The renpure argan oil cond. was meh but I'm not going to judge until I've used it more...(only tried it once but it didn't give me any slip).
My hair drinks conditioners like it's water, it just wants more and more moisture
I do not have hard water and I do drink plenty of water so it can't be that....I don't use heat on my hair either.
If you've read this far and know what the most moisturizing ingredient in a conditioner is, please do tell.
I just don't know what my hair wants anymore Almost all conditioners have aloe in them. The CJ rehab would be great if it didn't have aloe in it.

Are you allergic to these things or avoid them due to preference?

I'm curious about this too. You're list is going to exclude alot of really good conditioners. I understand cutting out the things that don't work for you though. It could be that some things don't work in combination with other things, but could work fine otherwise. I wouldn't cut so many things out altogether, you might want to try cutting one or two things out at a time and see what works and what doesn't.
Other than that, I can't really think of a condish that is going to meet your criteria. My two HG condishs have aloe in them:
Donna Marie Miracle Detangler & Conditioner is my absolute favorite, but it has aloe vera as the 2nd ingredient
Yes to Cucumbers has aloe in it but pretty far down the ingredient list
I checked out a bunch of conditioners for you, from Giovanni to Trader Joe's to Shea Moisture, and they all had at least one ingredient on your list - protein or aloe, usually. Sorry I couldn't find one for you Good luck in your search!

I'd like to know, too. My cowash is wonderful, but it has glycerin, even though that's never had harmful effects on my hair and is far down the list. My conditioner is great too, but it has both protein and shea butter...
I entered your criteria, though, into the product finder and got this:
Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Fortifying Conditioner - NaturallyCurly.com
It got great reviews on this website, but it didn't get such good reviews on other sites.
Garnier Pure-Clean reviews - Makeupalley
As you can see, MakeUpAlley didn't really care for it.
That's the only condish I could fine, though :/
However, I'm sensitive to aloe as well, but when it's low on the list, it doesn't really affect my hair.

With all those limitations, I don't have any recommendations, either. I was concerned when you listed that your hair is low porosity and drinks conditioner "like water." Low porosity hair doesn't absorb anything well, including water. Porous hair absorbs and looses moisture quickly--are you sure you're low porosity??
I use minute amounts of really "rich" products. It frequently takes my hair hours after it's dry to absorb them. Because I use the richer products, my hair is so well moisturized that the shampoo guy, at the salon I go to, won't use conditioner on my hair when he rinses out the highlight goo. (He just doesn't "get it.)

I agree with the other ladies that you're going to have a hard time finding a product that contains none of those things. I also agree that you may want to try eliminating a couple of those ingredients at a time to see if your hair really dislikes those ingredients, or maybe it's just the combo that doesn't work. I used to think my hair had protein and aloe sensitivities- I still think this, but I've learned that certain proteins do fine, and I can still do aloe in certain types of products (for example, it's okay in condish, LI or cream type products but my hair doesn't like it in gels). I also avoid layering products with these ingredients, as low-moderate amounts are okay, but if several products have protein and aloe, then it overloads my hair. So, you may just want to do some experimenting, and focus on really moisturizing products. If your dead set against using products with any of those ingredients, the only other suggestion I have would be to continue using the SN everlasting sunshine, but maybe add some moisturizing ingredients (oils, etc.) to it and see how that does.
Good luck!

Make your own: you can use avocado, coconut oil, rosemary oil; eggs, or - mayonaisse. I dont mean you should use all of the above together, look for recipes that use those ingredients.

I guess you could say my hair is allergic to them because my hair reacts the same way everytime I use any of those ingredients, separately or together. My hair gets super dry, tangles and sticks together like gum and looks like a rats nest. You can't get a comb through it and my hair breaks off. It's too much for my fine low porosity protein sensitive hair.

My hair hates aloe.
I've used conditioners with aloe which has the ingredient near bottom or at the bottom and still my hair hates it.
As soon as I realized it was the aloe it was like a relief because now I knew why the honeysuckle and rose conditioner didnt' work for me and why the matrix biolgics hydrating conditioner didn't work...I get it now, it's the aloe and it always was.

Thank you.
I've been looking for the garnier conditioner but I can't find it. It looks like i will have to order it online. At least they have it in Europe which is good.

I guess I shouldn't have said that because what it really is about is the fact that my hair doesn't absorb the conditioner which makes me use more conditioner. Low porosity hair (and correct me if i'm wrong) takes longer to get wet which fits my hair 100% my hair takes long to get wet and conditioners don't penetrate my hair strands unless I put a hot towel on my head first or soak my hair in hot water first and even then it takes some time for my hair to really drink the conditioner which makes me use more and more conditioner...I really need to invest in a steamer.

Well, most of those ingredients I have tried separately.
My hair seems to hate all forms of protein, coconut oil, coconut fat, shea butter, aloe vera, anything that acts as a protein. Even silk protein which some protein sensitive people have no problem with.
I think I get enough protein in my diet so maybe that's why...i don't know.
My hair also hates glycerin, most oils, wheat (after I tried conditioners that had it as a top ingredient).
Now i'm trying to figure out what ingredient in my renpure argan oil luxurious cond. that my hair didn't like but i'm going to try it a few more times before i say anything definite.

Mayo, egg, coconut oil/fat makes my hair stiff and greasy and do nothing for my hair but make it dry and give me breakage.
I want to try avocado oil but tbh I'm scared it will be yet another waste...
The search continues...

If you're open to giving wheat another try, Yes to Carrots Conditioner has it really low on the list and otherwise seems ok.
Yes To*Carrots Pampering Conditioner | Walgreens
It would help us more if you listed all the previous products you've used that did not work for you. Also, do you use any products right now besides the Suave conditioner?
You mention the AO Honeysuckle Rose. It has aloe, shea butter, wheat, and glycerin in it. It isn't necessarily that all of those things don't work for you hair, or that it's the aloe specifically you were reacting too. So, you might be blamed the wrong ingredient for you hair problems, and some of these ingredients might work for you hair. Like, personally, I tried a protein conditioner early on that made my hair react badly. So, I thought my hair hated protein in general for a really long time. But eventually I gave protein another chance with a different product, and it actually really worked in my hair. Matrix Biolage has glycerin and the A-cone.
Also, sometimes if you're getting consistently bad results it can help to do a clarifying shampoo.
ETA: You said your hair was fine, but fine hair almost always really likes protein. Are you sure your hair is fine? http://www.livecurlylivefree.com/cur...r%20basics.htm

Rainboe might be right about your hair properties. I had the same problem, not understanding that my hair is fine and so "treating it" incorrectly. I have always had alot of hair - like, ALOT of hair - so always thought, I have thick hair. So, I treated as thick, coarse, and porous, not liking protein, or rather not needing as much protein, etc.
Well, it's not thick so much as I just have alot of it. In actuality it's fine and plentiful. It starting behaving better when I gave it some protein and starting treating it as if its fine.
I'm wondering if your hair is actually fine, because it could be medium-fine, like mine, having some of the properties of fine hair. That type of hair quality is very hard to recognize.
And then, too, it could be that it doesn't like some types of protein, but needs other types of protein. Which is the problem I had too. I thought my hair hated protein, but it hated certain types of protein, and certain conditioners with those types of protein. Wheat protein was a big no-no for me - and the main reason I couldn't use the entire line of Deva products, for example.
But other products, with other types of protein, or with the protein lower down on the list, worked ok. I just have to very aware of ingredients lists.
As for the aloe, it could be that you have to avoid that. That's unfortunate, aloe can be good for your hair in small quantities. But you can find products without it
I like the suggestion of modifying a conditioner to suit your hair by adding some ingredients, like oil or even honey. Your hair could respond well to that.
Remember though that adding egg, or avocado, or mayonaise, is adding protein.
The other thing I would suggest is finding an organic alternative on Etsy, from a small, personal retailer. It'll take research but you could find someone willing to craft you something. BotticelliBabe might be able to help you.
The other thing is definitely let us know what you've tried, so we can narrow down your list. Then maybe we could compile a list of things for you to try, and some of us could help you out with samples or something. That way you don't have to spend a ton of $ trying new products. I know I'd be willing to send you a little sample of some of my HG's and some of us other girls would probably be able to do the same - even if they have your no-no ingredients, it's worth seeing if they might work anyway, then you might be able to pinpoint what ingredients are not working for you.
We'll get you sorted out eventually

Thank you for the suggestion! I will check out the Yes to carrots pampering conditioner.
I only use the suave one right now.
The conditioners I have used are:
Matrix biolage hydrating conditioner
Aubrey Organics honey suckle & Rose conditioner
Giovanni smooth as silk deeper moisture conditioner
Garnier Fructis Strengthening conditioner
Garnier fructis repair and shine conditioner
Jessicurl too shea conditioner
Renpure organics argan oil luxurious conditioner (only tried it once though but my hair felt a little straw like afterwards)
Those are the ones I have tried so far.
I think it's definitely the protein that doesn't agree with my hair so aloe and shea butter definitely but wheat and glycerine I'm not so sure of. I am going to buy pure glycerin and mix it with water and use a little on my hair to see how my hair likes it, it's suppose to draw moisture into my hair no? Well, doesn't hurt to try! And we have a lot of rain here...
I think my hair is medium fine. When I pull out a hair strand and put it into the palm of my hand it's so thin I can barely see it, at first I thought my hair wasn't because it has so much volume but it's not thick ( I can only put my hair in two skinny ponytails so I don't have a lot of hair) I don't understand my hair...My hair strands are thin but it hates protein...Could it be because my hair is protein damaged? before all of this I used to only wash my hair with shampoos and conditioners with protein in them (especially aloe seems to be in every conditioner) so maybe my hair is just damaged from the protein and doesn't need it at the moment?
Hmm...And I have used a clarifying shampoo before using the conditioners!
Thanks for all the help!

First of all thank you and you're so sweet! Yes I definitely think my hair can be medium fine but my hair is definitely not thick but it has volume and "poofs up" easily (which is annoying) and it's low porosity which makes it harder to get moisture in there.
Thank you for the suggestion, I will definitely check out Etsy and thanks for reminding me that avocado is a protein! (love avocado face masks btw!).
I think my problem could be I eat a lot of protein, my diet consists of lots of protein so maybe I don't need any atm.
Another thing I am going to try is glycerin on my hair to attract moisture.w

Glad I could help, even if it is just a little bit. Aloe and Shea Butter aren't proteins. Proteins are usually identified as protein or they're listed as amino acids.
