A few days ago my hair seemed overmoisturized. I had used protein and a super rich conditioner. This thread is very timely! My curls just wouldn't pop and my hair felt greasy.

I'm going to cut back a lot and maybe just lo poo and see what happens.

I cowash daily and often feel moisturized enough to skip a leave in. I love that my hair is lighter and bouncier without it. It air dries a lot faster when I only use one product/gel.

Skipped the LI this morning ..... nope. I need it. It looked gorgeous before I plopped then POOF frizz. Good thing I will be re-wetting it after I work today!

No, I think the possibility. Of skipping conditioner would only work with 2's.

Although, I find when I use conditioner, I need to use a leave in and product. Its frizzier. The balance of moisture. From not using a conditioner. Doesn't happen immediately.

I am not a 2 (mostly 3b) yet successfully skip conditioner sometimes, so I don't think it is about curl pattern.
