Question For People Who Color with Henna or Robert Craig...
Is it okay to co-wash or shampoo right after you use Henna (or RC) or should you just do a thorough (plain water) rinse and wait 24 hours or so, to allow the color to set before doing a normal 'poo and condition...
I have heard varied suggestions, but wanted to know which most people prefer to prevent or minimize fading. Thanks! |
I've only henna'd twice and I co-wash right after and didn't notice any fading at all. But I bet it might have something to do with what conditioner you co-wash with, and some people's hair just fades more easily than others.

I don't know about henna, but you can shampoo or condition wash after RC's Color. I either shampoo with the one that comes with the color, or I rinse really well and condition. You don't need to scrub or anything, it just helps rinse out the excess color off the scalp.

Thanks guys!
