I have been natural for about 5yrs now on Dec. 2011 I chose to get locs, I was fine with these for about 6 months and I took them out because I felt as though they had to much maintenance for me. Now that I have them out my hair has been so dry and no matter how much I detangle it still bunches together and when it is time to wash it is really hard to do so.

Also I have been natural for a long time, but my hair seems to stay at the same length. How can I stop all of this extra tangling and get more length to my hair?

Giving your hair what it needs to be healthy can take some time and experimenting. What products are you using? Have you tried some deep treatments? Here's a good place to start reading: Start Here! There's tons of great info and help for you on these boards!
