I still have resedue!~

Hello,

well i ahve follow the low-poo and no shampoo method for over 6 months now. I stopped using silicones, and when i do shampoo, its L'oreal Sulfate free shampoo. I wash my hair twice or once a week.

So why does everytime i scratch my hair this nasty resedue comes off and gets stuck between my nails? (gross i know)

Is it the products i use? They have No silicones though...

I don't know if its dandruf, i doubt it...

please help, i really havent seen a change in my hair. Maybe its less frizzy.
I just want to know why i have this resedue in my hair?
Thanks!
Hey you, I'm in the same boat as you. Even after going CG i still get that, uh, gunk, or what have you, in certain spots. My solution: strict cowashing is out so I low-poo every other day. Also, I comb all of my hair back slick, then scrub upside down. I'm able to do a much more thorough job, since my hair is so dang thick it can be hard to get the back.

Is ACV curly girl friendly ? It is a great clarifying method and may help with scalp residue .

all low poos are not created equal. You might want to check the ingredients list. Some people like the gentler shampoos like SM coconut hibiscus but I find it doesnt get my hair and scalp clean enough. Im CG but very buildup prone which you can also get from oils and conditioners. I like stronger shampoos. tJ tea tree tingle is a fav.
