My moms hair grows out kind of poofy and wavy but towards the end its very silky, its defined not poofy at all, and about a 3a or b in pattern.

I just wanted to see if anyone could suggest something to to define the roots of her hair?

She does not wear a relaxer nor does she have relaxed ends. She cuts her hair so often so its not dead hair. Also she does not cut her hair. She has virgin hair.
