Vegetable Glycerin

Does anyone use the Glisten spray from the CG Book?

I'm wondering if I could use a little dab of the vegetable glycerin straight out of the bottle as a leave in when it's wet or mixed with a gel or pomade?

Is the vegetable glycerin hard on the hair unless it's mixed with equal parts water? I sure like the feel of it mixed with water, but I'm not sure if I want to "wet" my hair after it looks nice dry...

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

I haven't done this, but my daughter likes to use a small amount of veggie glycerin straight to tame frizzies. I think she just rubs some on her hands and smooths it over the canopy.
