Do you leave them in til your hair is completely dry, or remove them when hair is damp?

I don't use the roller clips (though I am intrigued!), but I do clip!

If I air dry and use the clips, I typically leave them in until it's at least 50% dry. If I diffuse, I'll diffuse to about 50%, take them out, and then diffuse a little more at the roots.
