Hi Myrna,

This is where I get my goodies: Now Foods, Solutions, Sweet Almond Oil, 4 fl oz (118 ml) - iHerb.com

iherb.com has free shipping with any purchase over $20 and here is a coupon code that will save you $5 on your first order (SAF007) They also sell Kinky Curly and a couple of other CG lines of products :D

Sometimes Amazon.com will have a better price, you just have to figure in shipping charges. Here's one with free "super saver" shipping when you spend $25: http://www.amazon.com/Foods-Sweet-Al...+oil+now+foods

I found it at Walmart, in the hair section (next to the "ethnic hair" section, my walmart has a small section with products from South America/Mexico, I found it there) - it was under $3, pure sweet almond oil, nothing else added

Sorry for my long reply, lol, I guess I like online shopping :D Plus, I'm on an island that you have to take a ferry to get anywhere and when we do get to the mainland I am always rushed through the grocery store by hubby. I've learned to love ordering things online, but I avoid shipping costs at all cost, lol.

I have some of this left over from when my threading lady told me it would help my eyebrows grow thicker. Didn't work for that. Is it supposed to help with hair growth or conditioning?

Like all oils, it's moisturizing. Almond oil has similar properties to olive oil. It partly penetrates the hair shaft and it's good for reducing frizz and tangles. It has less scent though.

I've never heard of it increasing growth or thickness. I don't think any oils do that.
